On October 26th, 2024, Andy and a hearty crew of breakfast lovers attempted to create the tallest stack of pankakes ever. After a long day of mixing and flipping, the stacking began, with no shortage of enthusiasm. Various stackers cycled in and out giving it their best effort but in the end the kakes were too fluffy and, despite reaching the record height of 3'6, they weren't able to hold the necessary 5 seconds to secure the record. Despite not achieving the record, spirits remained high and vows were made for next years success. Throughout the day, 5 awesome local bands and 3 DJs performed, 4 local artists/artisans displayed their work, one local chef and crew served food and sock wrestling contests were held in a bonafide wrestling ring. We laughed and cried, danced and sang, ate and drank and were merry. Here's to many more Pankake Fests to come! Rest assured, we'll get that record next year.
